School cancellation (due to snow):
- Oak Ridge (door #7) will be open for all Sartell-St. Stephen KIDSTOP and KIDSTART families from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. All Day KIDSTOP fees will apply.
- All KIDSTOP sites in the St. Cloud school district will be closed.
- All KIDSTOP sites & Storm in the Sauk Rapids-Rice school district will be closed.
- All KIDSTOP sites in the Little Falls school district will be closed.
- The Roosevelt, Eastside & Southside Boys & Girls Clubs will be open 8 – 5 p.m. for all registered Boys & Girls Club and KIDSTOP members.
- Little Falls & Discovery Boys & Girls Clubs will be closed.

- Madison (door #8) and Oak Hill (door #8) will be open for all Dist. 742 KIDSTOP families from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. All Day KIDSTOP fees will apply.
- Mississippi Heights (door #13) will be open for all Sauk Rapids-Rice KIDSTOP families from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. All Day KIDSTOP fees will apply.
- Oak Ridge (door #7) will be open for all Sartell-St. Stephen KIDSTOP and KIDSTART families from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. All Day KIDSTOP fees will apply.
- Lindbergh will be open for all Little Falls KIDSTOP families from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. All Day KIDSTOP fees will apply.
- The Roosevelt, Eastside, Southside & Little Falls Boys & Girls Clubs will be open from noon – 5 p.m.
- The Discovery Boys & Girls Club will be closed.
- Sauk Rapids Storm will be closed.
Early dismissal:
- If school is dismissed early due to severe weather, all Boys & Girls Clubs, Sauk Rapids Storm, KIDSTOPs & KIDSTART in the St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids-Rice, Sartell-St. Stephen & Little Falls school districts will remain open until 4 p.m. Parents will be asked to pick up their children as soon as safely possible and no later than 4 p.m.
In the event school is dismissed early due to severe weather, please make plans and discuss your emergency plan with your children to:
- go to KIDSTOP after school
- to be picked up at school by you or another designated person
Your emergency plan should be indicated on the school’s Emergency School Closing form.
Late start:
When schools have a late start due to weather before school:
- KIDSTOP in the Sauk Rapids-Rice school district will open at 8 a.m.
- KIDSTOP & KIDSTART in the Sartell-St. Stephen school district will open at 8:30 a.m.
- KIDSTOP in the Little Falls school district will open at 8 a.m.
All Day KIDSTOP Reminders:
- Normal all-day rates apply
- Parents must send their child with a bag lunch
- Parents must fill out an allergy action plan
- Parents must fill out a medication administration form (completed & submitted in advance – talk to your site manager for details) and bring all medication with them that morning before dropping off child(ren)
After-school activities cancellation:
- If after-school activities are canceled for the day, but school day ends at normally scheduled hours, all Boys & Girls Clubs, Sauk Rapids Storm, KIDSTOPs and KIDSTART in the St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids-Rice, Sartell-St. Stephen & Little Falls school districts will remain open until 6 p.m. Please make arrangements in order to pick up your children no later than 6 p.m.
