Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota Youth of the Year Serves as Coca-Cola Flag Bearer at FIFA World Cup Final
Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota is proud to announce that 2026 Youth of the Year Brook’Lynn H. received the extraordinary opportunity to represent Coca-Cola as a flag bearer at the FIFA World Cup Final.
As a Coca-Cola Flag Bearer, Brook’Lynn took part in one of the world’s most celebrated sporting events, stepping onto the international stage and helping represent the excitement, unity and spirit of the FIFA World Cup. The experience provided her with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of the championship match at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
As Midwest Youth of the Year, Brook’Lynn and the four other regional Youth of the Year received a number of incredible experiences last weekend, including a shopping spree at the Adidas store in New York. Brook’Lynn and her fellow Youth of the Year also met a number of celebrities, including professional athletes, actors and celebrities who are Boys & Girls Club alumni.
“The FIFA experience was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me and the other Youth of the Year,” said Brook’Lynn. “We got to meet with people from Coca-Cola and Adidas, and the CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. It was an amazing opportunity!”

Brook’Lynn has been a member of the Southside Boys & Girls Club for 12 years and was named Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota’s 2026 Youth of the Year. She earned the title of Minnesota Youth of the Year in March, and she traveled to Chicago in June, where she earned the title of Midwest Region Youth of the Year! Brook’Lynn will be one of five youth to compete for the title of Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Youth of the Year October 1st in New York City. Brook’Lynn has distinguished herself as a leader, mentor and advocate for young people through her involvement at the Club and throughout the community.
Brook’Lynn’s opportunity to participate in the FIFA World Cup Final reflects the power of Club experiences to help young people discover their potential, build confidence and prepare for bright futures.
