Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota has developed a new app for KIDSTOP families! The BGCMN app will enable families to view their family information, posted and current balances, and upcoming field trips. Families can even receive personal messages. Families that have variable week-to-week scheduling can manage their child’s expected attendance as well.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota now offers an Android and iOS mobile app for parents.
With the app, you can view your family information, posted and current balances, upcoming field trips, and messages. Families with customized scheduling can manage the child’s expected attendance as well.
- Search for BGCMN in your app store and install.
- Click on Create Login after opening the app.
- Verify your identity by providing your Sponsor ID and an Invite Code. Sponsor ID is the first six digits above the barcode on your Blue Card. Your ID looks like 2####9. (Example). Enter Sponsor ID (each sponsor will be unique) for your Invite Code.
- Your invite code will be valid for 14 days.
- Provide an email address and password for authentication.
If you do not register before your invite code expires, please contact us for a new invite code at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why is the BGCMN app required?
You will need to decide if you want your child on a fixed schedule or customized schedule.
Fixed Schedule: Your child’s schedule will be set in our system for certain days (Monday thru Friday, Tuesday & Thursday, etc.) You will be charged the afterschool rate for each day your child is set to attend regardless of whether your child actually attends KIDSTOP. If you need to add a day that is not on your fixed schedule there will be an automatic additional $5 fee attached to the daily afterschool rate.
***Please still inform KIDSTOP via email, schedule change book, or voicemail of any schedule changes.
Customized Schedule: Every week you will receive a push notification through the app prompting you to select which days you want your child to attend afterschool for the following week. You will have until Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. to customize your schedule for the following week at no additional charge. You will be charged the afterschool rate for each day your child is set to attend regardless of whether your child actually attends KIDSTOP.
***If the schedule is not updated in time, your child can still attend, but there will be an automatic additional $5 fee per each afterschool attendance.
An unnotified absence fee of $5 will be charged if a child who is scheduled does not attend KIDSTOP and KIDSTOP staff must search for the child and/or contact the parent. This fee will be charged regardless of whether the child is on a fixed or customized schedule.
Please see your site manager to discuss which option will work best for you before Jan. 1, 2024. Parents who do not notify us of their schedule preference will be defaulted to a fixed schedule.
Families will be allowed up to 5 days per child per calendar year that their child is scheduled but doesn’t attend which they won’t have to pay the daily fee.
Parents must indicate dates in the app that they want to use as one of their 5 days. Parents must indicate the day(s) they don’t want to be charged by Friday evening of the current week. The app will show how many days have been used and how many are remaining.
Fixed Schedules vs. Customized Schedules
Registrations with fixed schedules can be changed monthly. Requests to change fixed schedules must be emailed to email@example.com by the 20th of the month prior to the change. Include member name(s) and days of the week for your updated fixed schedule.
Registrations may be changed from a fixed schedule to a customized schedule on a monthly basis as well. Requests to change from a fixed schedule to a customized schedule must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by the 20th of the month prior to changing the schedule model. Once registrations are changed from a fixed schedule to a customized schedule, changes to schedules must be made using the app on a weekly basis by Wednesday at 11:59 p.m.
How to delete my login
- Log in to the app
- Click on the 3 bars in the top right corner
- Go to about/help
- Click delete my login at the bottom of the screen
