Partnerships Raise Eastside Boys & Girls Club Garage

Thanks to some amazing community partnerships, the Boys & Girls Club hosted a ribbon-cutting for a new garage built in Raymond Park, next to the Eastside Boys & Girls Club. The ribbon-cutting was held at 4 p.m. on June 26th at 320 Raymond Avenue NE, St. Cloud.

The Eastside garage project started with a grant opportunity through Great River Rotary of Sauk Rapids and Sartell, proposed by Boys & Girls Club Board Member and Rotarian Eric Reisinger. The Boys & Girls Club received a capital grant in the amount of $6,000.00.

Reisinger worked with Boys & Girls Club staff and other board members to develop additional partnerships to make the garage possible for the Boys & Girls Club. The City of St. Cloud donated park land for the garage to be housed near the Eastside Club. Rice Companies generously donated labor costs toward the garage project, thanks to Board Member Chris Schuver. McDowall Company donated roofing and siding costs, thanks to Board Member Matt McDowall.

“We are so appreciative of our many community partners who helped raise this much needed garage,” said Director of Development Deb Nebosis. “These partners have positively impacted the Boys & Girls Club time and time again. They make our community a better place for kids!”
