Melvin and Laurine Zimmerman Leave a Legacy Gift to Little Falls Boys & Girls Club

Two long-time Little Falls community members have left a legacy gift to support the Little Falls Boys & Girls Club. Melvin and Laurine Zimmerman left a planned gift of a percentage of their trust to support programming and facility improvements for the Little Falls Club.

“We are honored to receive such a generous gift from the Zimmermans to support the Little Falls Boys & Girls Club,” said Mary Swingle, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota. “This investment will make a lasting impact on the youth we serve in the Little Falls community. It’s a meaningful way for Melvin and Laurine to create a legacy for generations to come.”

“Melvin and Laurine Zimmerman were a private couple who always appreciated the little things done for them,” said the Zimmermans’ long-time friend Stephen Shelley. “They made a decision to support various non-profits in the Little Falls area that help make the area as vibrant as can be. The Boys & Girls Club was dear to them for the contributions they make to the community.”
