This Holiday season, you could help us serve at least 100 more kids with a safe place to learn and grow by donating to The Boys & Girls Club of Central Minnesota.
As the Holidays approach, think back to when you were a child and of the happy memories spending time with a loving, supportive family; times filled with caring adults, delicious food, toys, and fun.
That’s the feeling every child should have at this time of year, but for too many kids, the holidays bring extra stress. Parents wonder where their kids will go while school is out or if they will have food to eat.
Thanks to our close group of friends in the Boys & Girls Club of Central Minnesota’s Legacy Circle and Partners for the Future, we have been able to achieve our mission to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, caring citizens. Through generous donations from these sponsors, we have been able to provide young people in Central Minnesota with a place they can call “home,” complete with an extended family and the wonderful feeling of belonging and security.
We have also been able to provide young people engaging programs that enable them to reach their full potential. Based on the interests and needs of the youth we serve, our clubs offer diverse program activities in five areas:
- Character & Leadership Development
- Education & Career Development
- Health & Life Skills
- The Arts
- Sports, Fitness and Recreation
We also offer KIDSTOP through these donations. KIDSTOP is a school-age child care program for K-6 at 15 schools in the St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids-Rice, Sartell-St. Stephen and ROCORI school districts, as well as STRIDE Academy Charter School and Athlos Academy.
The Boys & Girls Club is committed to making sure all children are entitled to quality after-school care because the children of Central Minnesota deserve to have a positive place to stay after school that is convenient for parents and fun for kids.
Although we’ve been blessed in the last year, there is no limit to the amount of giving needed to provide a safe place for kids to learn and grow. In fact, we know we could serve at least 100 more kids with your help.
