Eastside, Roosevelt, Southside & Discovery Boys & Girls Clubs Announce Summer Teen Program Schedule

Get ready for an unforgettable summer at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota! We are thrilled to announce an exciting lineup of teen programming designed to inspire, empower, and engage. From cutting-edge digital technology and dynamic dance workshops to photography, there’s something for everyone. Teens will have the chance to explore leadership opportunities, connect with peers, and express their unique voices through projects that make a difference. Don’t miss your chance to be part of a summer full of creativity, connection, and fun!

Below, please find a list of programming highlights at each Club for the summer:

Eastside Boys & Girls Club (320 Raymond Ave. NE, St. Cloud – open M-F from noon – 6 p.m.)

  • June 9 – 13 – Soccer Camp
  • July 7 – 11 – Basketball Camp
  • July 21 – 25 – Dance Sampler Camp
  • July 28 – 31 – STEM Camp
  • August 4 – 8 – Theatre Camp
  • August 18 – 22 – Woodshop Camp
  • Every Friday throughout the summer is Woodshop Friday from 1:30 – 4 p.m.!

Roosevelt Boys & Girls Club (345 30th Ave. N, St. Cloud – open M-F from noon – 6 p.m.)

  • Esports M-F
  • Fortnite Fridays
  • Workforce Wednesdays-1-3pm (Expect fun field trips, guest speakers and activities to learn job skills employers are seeking)
  • June 11 – Metrobus training 1 – 3 p.m.
  • July 9 – Rox baseball game
  • July 15 – 17 – Money Matters Camp – July 15-17 2-4 p.m. (Learn about budgeting, credit cards, and how to manage the money you earn)
  • August – Como Zoo field trip

Discovery Boys & Girls Club (700 7th St. S., Waite Park – open M-F from noon – 6 p.m.)

  • June 9 – July 18th – STEM Lab
  • Rocket League – all summer starting June 9th
  • Minecraft – All summer starting June 3rd
  • June 23 – 27 – Soccer Camp
  • August 4 – 8 – Basketball Camp

Southside Boys & Girls Club (1205 6th Ave. S., St. Cloud – open M-F from noon – 6 p.m.)

  • Photography Excursion Trips (throughout the summer): Head to places like the Arboretum in the Cities, Munsinger Gardens, and Fresh Acres in Monticello to develop your photography skills.
  • Fortnite Fridays: Love playing Fortnite? Join like-minded individuals every Friday and play as a team.
  • Esports Tournaments: Get connected through the power of Esports.
  • June 10-11, July 29, 30: T-shirt Bleaching & Design Course: Let’s use the power of the sun and a little bleach to create cool designs on T-shirts
  • June 25 – ATS National Logistics Day – Semi-truck & Career Course: Try out Anderson Trucking’s top-of-the-line trucking simulator and get an inside look at a career in the Trucking world.
  • July 8, 10, 16: Croc Charm or Resin Pin Creation Course
  • August 5: Silk Bonnet Making Course
  • August 11-14: PAL Camp – We are still working on the details, but this could be focused on cyber security or crime scene investigation.

 

All programs are FREE to registered Boys & Girls Club members, and annual Club membership is FREE as well. We also provide a p.m. breakfast and a meal around 4 p.m. M-F!
