Boys & Girls Club Remembers Tom Vos

Our community lost a great champion of youth on May 31, 2023. Boys & Girls Club would like to honor and remember Tom Vos for the many contributions he made to this community and to support great futures for youth.

Tom was an active member of many organizations and boards, including President of the Vos Family Foundation (2000-2020), Association for Retarded Citizens (ARC) California, Avon Lions, Catholic Charities (Circle of Hope), Church of St. Benedict, Boy Scouts of America, Elks Club, Project for the People of Paraguay, Birthline, and, of course, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central MN.

Tom and his wife Nansi Vos became involved with the Boys & Girls Club shortly after they moved to the area. The couple joined the Partners for the Future sponsorship program in 2002, and have remained Partners for more than 20 years. Tom and Nansi became deeply involved with the organization because of its mission to help youth. Together, they attended every Boys & Girls Club event, including our annual Summer Benefit, donor appreciation events and Youth Arts Initiative showcases. Tom and Nansi were deeply invested in programs and became Board of Trustee members as advocates of the Boys & Girls Club.

Tom and Nansi’s decades of support have undoubtedly built great futures for thousands of kids. The Boys & Girls Club will always remember Tom’s legacy of caring for the youth of our community.
