Last week, two little girls came in with a big donation to help kids in need start the school year successfully. These girls will just be entering pre-school this year, but that didn’t stop them from making a difference. Together with a mom’s help, Lux Lehrer (age 4) and Piper Majchrzak (age 4 1/2) filled 9 backpacks with school supplies for Boys & Girls Club youth.
When asked what it means to volunteer, Lux quickly replied, “It means to help other people.” Lux and Piper both said they wanted to help other kids, “because if they don’t have school supplies, we can help them.”
These girls prove that you don’t have to be “big” to make a big difference!
