On Thursday, May 16th at 4 p.m., Boys & Girls Club board, staff and youth gathered at St. Cloud Subaru to accept a check for $8,123.00 to support the Boys & Girls Club’s meal program, which more served 112,000 meals to youth in 2018.
Through St. Cloud Subaru’s “Share the Love” event, the dealership donated $250 from each new car sold from mid-November 2018 through January 1, 2019.
This is the fifth consecutive year that St. Cloud Subaru has donated its “Share the Love” proceeds to the Boys & Girls Club. In total, St. Cloud Subaru has donated more than $178,000.00.
St. Cloud Subaru CEO Scott Bement says the dealership loves to give back to the community and it’s great to see the money put to good use each year.
“We are proud to partner with the Boys & Girls Club through the Share the Love program,” said Bement. “They really care about every one of the kids they serve. It feels good for us to know that this money is going to help kids be successful.”
“We are eternally grateful for St. Cloud Subaru’s support of the Boys & Girls Club,” said Deb Nebosis, Director of Resource Development. “This funding will help provide basic needs for the young people of this community.”
