Steve Windfeldt is dancing to support Youth Arts Initiative!
The Boys & Girls Club’s Youth Arts Initiative was launched in 2014 in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Wallace Foundation to research 10 Success Principles for High Quality Arts Programming. We implemented four art forms, including dance, fashion, visual arts and digital music and video production, incorporating youth voice and input. Funding is scheduled to end in 2018, so Steve Windfeldt has decided to dance to help sustain Youth Arts Initiative as part of a sustainability campaign.
Steve has an aggressive goal to raise $50,000! Please “vote” for Steve and help him reach this goal to give kids a voice through the arts!
How the Dancing with our Stars contest works
The winner is going to be based upon their score from the judges as well as how many dollars they raise for their charity. 40% on judges score and 60% on dollars raised. All the dollars raised go directly to that organization.
1st Place – $15,000
2nd Place – $10,000
3rd Place – $5,000
4th-6th Place – $2,000
Fundraising is online and continues up until the event on June 18th. There will be opportunities to donate the night of the event as well. All dollars will be counted and the winner will be announced at the end of the evening.
