Boys & Girls Club’s Board Member Spotlight: Matt McDowall
Matt has served as a member of Boys & Girls Club’s Board of Directors for 5 years. Matt said he joined the board because he wanted to give back to the community, which has provided so much for him and his family. “The greatest impact we can have on others is our means to empower the next generation,” said Matt.
“Boys & Girls Club has been a partner with McDowall Company, dating back to when my father was my age and he began working with Mark Sakry. As I sought volunteer opportunities for myself, Boys & Girls Club was a great fit based on our history of partnership and the Club’s ability to have an impact on youth in our community.”
Matt was born and raised in Central Minnesota. He graduated from Tech High School and attended SCTCC with a degree in the Sales and Management program. Matt’s wife Aimee is also from the area. They have two living children, Jack and Luke, and one angel named Macy Grace, who is watching over them. They enjoy lots of family time together at the lake and the hockey rink. Matt and Aimee love this community and are proud to call it home.
