Boys & Girls Club’s Board Member Spotlight: Pat Welter
Pat has served as a member of the Boys & Girls Club’s Board of Directors for more than 10 years. Pat says that she is fully committed to the work of Boys & Girls Club, because it is focused on supporting kids and youth and helping them become successful and thrive. “That is what most of my life has been about!” exclaimed Pat. “I’m all in!”
She is a retired public school educator. In her 35-year public school career, Pat worked as a principal and assistant principal at North Junior High and as an English teacher at Technical High School in St. Cloud. Pat earned her BA from the College of St. Benedict, her MA from St. Cloud State University, and her PhD in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Minnesota. Pat serves on numerous community boards and activities. She is a member of Christ Church Newman Center in St. Cloud. She and her husband live in Waite Park and have five grown children and nine grandchildren.
