We are proud to celebrate two outstanding members of our Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota team, Aimee Minnerath and Pat Miller, who were honored at the Greater Midwest Area Council (GMAC) Awards on July 24, 2025, in Watertown, South Dakota, for their exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to youth.
The Boys & Girls Club Area Council Hall of Fame honors those rare individuals whose exceptional achievements have left a lasting mark on their local Club and on the Greater Midwest Area Council as a whole. GMAC includes Clubs across Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota, and has been shaped by many incredible staff, board members, volunteers, alumni, and supporters over the years.
Aimee Minnerath has served Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota for 25 years, bringing heart, strategy, and vision to every aspect of her work. As Vice President of Donor Engagement & Communications, Aimee has played a key role in advancing the Club’s mission through authentic community partnerships, strategic communications, and thoughtful donor stewardship.
What sets Aimee apart is not just what she does, but how she does it: with compassion, integrity, and a deep belief in the power of Great Futures.
“Aimee is like an exquisite diamond… brilliant, multi-faceted, and quite rare,” shared Board Member Mimi Bitzan. “She connects deeply with donors, community leaders, and most importantly, our kids. She celebrates their successes and creates meaningful moments that inspire others to support our mission.”
Also honored was Pat Miller, who received the GMAC Liaison of the Year Award, a recognition of his steadfast leadership and tireless support for Clubs across the region.
As liaison, Pat bridges communication between local Club professionals and GMAC leadership, ensuring that staff voices are heard, supported, and empowered. His leadership style is grounded in collaboration, empathy, and a deep understanding of what it takes to serve youth effectively.
With this honor, Aimee Minnerath and Pat Miller now join fellow Central Minnesota leaders Roger Poganski, Deb Nebosis, Geri Bechtold, and Tommi Neuman in the GMAC Hall of Fame, a powerful legacy of service and commitment to the Boys & Girls Club movement.
Please join us in congratulating Aimee and Pat on these well-deserved recognitions. Their leadership continues to shape Great Futures for youth across Central Minnesota.
